Artist residency
Sosta House is a labor of love.
We are excited to announce that our 2024 Artist Residency application is open on a rolling basis!
The Sosta House Artist Residency is meant to act as a place of peaceful creative focus for artists and makers to explore their practice while living at our Bed & Breakfast in the lush Willamette Valley. We offer a two week exploratory residency, as well as longer stays through a project-based program, both of which ask residents to leave a piece in Sosta House’s permanent collection. Residents are hosted in a private room at Sosta House, a space designated for artists.
Some residencies are scheduled six months in advance and some are more spontaneous, self directed mini stays. We’re open minded! We do have a small team, so we check in and get back to residency applicants every two to four months. A lot more information is provided in our application below.
